Adding to the mystique of the item is the author's written comment and low issue number. The overall condition is good considering that it is 114 years old. The binding is solid; the 113 pages are in good condition with no noticeable tears. Of course you can expect yellowing along the edges. The front and back covers have stains and areas of wear. The inside of both covers as well as the first blank pages are stained. The book was apparently in a library until 1938 when the board authorized its sale.
