certified No 184 of 901 issued LA3 commemorating the first operational us of “Window” and was signed by Mr. Martin Middlebrook and 3 crew members who showing the carried FDC in front of their aircraft. Mr. Middlebrook wrote "The Battle Of Hamburg", which was the series of raids which were carried out by the R.A.F. and U.S.A.A.F. on that City in July/ August 1943. lt was during the battle of Hamburg that 'Window' was used by the R.A.F. on operations for the first time.
