Cover depicts the first Hawker prototype P1052 VX272, Hawker P1067 WB188, Hawker P1081 VX279 the Hawker Hunter FGA9, Hunter F6, ETPS Hunter F7 and the World Speed Record Breaker hunter in its Red Livery. Cover bears 63p Camm Hawker Architects of the Air stamp cancelled at Kingston Surrey 19 November 1998 for the 50th Aniversary of the first Flight. Cover has been flown on the last flight of Hawker hunter T7 WV383 as a flight trials aircraft. The aircraft was flown from DERA Boscombe Down on a low level sortie around Rutland Water testing electro-optic imaging equipment. Cover was reflown in Hunter T7 of Delta Jets from Kemble on a practice display sortie for Tangmere 99 marking the 45th Anniversary of the entry into RAF service of the Hunter aircraft in 1954.
